Happy New Year 2007!

We headed up to Mangawai for a few nights camping on a Patrick's (Fleur's brother) land. He's in the process of building a house there at at this stage has a container where he sleeps and a little kitchenette, he's pretty set up though! We basically spent the days relaxing, fishing on the beach, drinking and eating and of course seeing in 2007!

This was the drive up.... bumper to bumper most of the way, the journey should've taken 1 1/2 hours but took almost 4!

Weekend Away up North

Philip and I headed up North for a night in early December. We packed our bags, jumped in the car and drove. We had tonnes of fun exploring, we found several great camping spots we would love to come back to and managed to find 2 South African shops, 2 dutch shops do wine, honey and cheese tasting!! We stayed in Leigh for the night, headed a bit further up North on Sunday before driving home again.
